    Irma and Richard Flibotte

    Richard and Irma (Tassi) Flibotte of Derry celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 26, 2011.
    The couple were married Aug. 26, 1951, at St. Charles Boromeo Church in Woburn. The couple renewed their wedding vows at Holy Cross Church. The renewal ceremony was officiated by Fr. Roger Croteau. A reception, hosted by family and friends, was held at the Halcyon Function Hall in Derry.

    Eugenio and Chieko Campaiola celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip through Portsmouth, N.H. and southern Maine with their daughter, Jean and son-in-law, Roger Harris.
    Gene was born on Chestnut Street in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. After the war, he joined the U.S. Army Air Force. He was stationed in Tokyo, Japan where he met his future bride.

    John and Donna Kelleher recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at a surprise party held in their honor by their family.
    John and Donna met through mutual friends in 1984 and were married at First Church Congregational, Methuen, on Sept. 20, 1986.

  • Norma and Armand Soucy

    Norma and Armand Soucy recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Armand is a native of Georgetown and Norma is a native of Byfield.They were married in Georgetown on Sept. 26, 1941. Armand left to serve in World War II in December, 1941. Upon his return from the war they purchased an acre of land on North Street in Georgetown and lived in an apartment in the center of Georgetown. He built their home basically by himself over the next three years. They lived at 171 North St., until 1991, raising four children, Nan, Neil, Cynthia, and Michael. He marched in the Memorial Day parade for over 50 years straight and received a plaque thanking him for his service during one of the parades. In 1991, they sold their home and moved to a smaller home in Seabrook, N.H. where they have lived for 20 years.

    Allen and Mary (Mikonis) Jackson recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Cobblestones of Lowell. They were married on Sept. 16, 1951.
    Their children include: Robert and Cathy Jackson of Acton, Maine and grandchildren, Rachel Jackson, Kyle Jackson and Lindsay Jackson; Patricia, wife of David Hajjar of Wilton, N.H., Jim and Cathy Jackson of Hampstead, N.H.; Rich and Terry Jackson of Burlington, and grandchildren, Dennis Jackson and Jake Jackson; Susan, wife of Bill Farrell of Windham, N.H., and grandchild, Kate Farrell. Kyle Jackson's girlfriend, Kelsey, and Dennis Jackson's girlfriend, Nicole, were also there to help the couple celebrate.

    Louis and Loretta (Jerome) Garneau are celebrating 50 years of marriage together. They were married on Aug. 26,1961 at Saint Anne's Church in Lawrence. The reception was at The French Social in Lawrence, beginning a wonderful life together full of love, caring and close family. They were blessed with three children: daughter, Lisa Catania and son-in-law, Paul Catania of Methuen; son, Lee and daughter-in-law, Darlene (Robichaud) of Haverhill; son, Larry and daughter-in-law, Nancy (Arsenault) of Haverhill; five grandchildren, Nicholas Catania, Nicole Catania, Michael Catania, Jeremy Garneau and Matthew Garneau. Grand dogs Bailey, Eddie and Cosmo.
