A released Palestinian prisoner, Omar Masoud, 40, left, who was arrested in May, 1993 for killing an Israeli lawyer, is welcomed by his mother Tamam Masoud, 70, right, upon his arrival to his family house in Shati Refugee Camp, early today. Israel freed 26 Palestinian prisoners early Wednesday, the second of four batches to be released as part of a deal that set in motion the current Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.
