Ann Scannell sits with her mother, Jeannette Elie, in a hallway near Jeannette's room at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell. Ann visits her mother, who is 85-years-old and has Alzheimers Disease, a few times a week and stays for about an hour, talking and taking her for walks up and down the hallways of the building.
