Eight year-old Maddie Canelli of Boxford got to be "principal for a day" of Cole Elementary on Tuesday, May 13. Her first decision as principal was to have a pizza party in her second-grade classroom for lunch, and an extra recess that day. Maddie's parents had won the chance for her to be principal at the Boxford PTO's auction fundraiser earlier this spring. Bethany Bray/staff photo/Town Crossings Wednesday, May 14, 2008
