The anti-graffiti unit of the Essex County Sheriff's Department was in Haverhill this week removing painted graffiti and tags from various properties throughout the city, including on a wall of the Woolworth building at the corner of Main and Merrimack streets. Here, a worker washes away residue after removing painted markings from the side of the building.
