Beth Bertoni of Haverhill was one of three residents to win a prize in the city's recent pothole reporting contest. Bertoni informed the city about several potholes on Jefferson Street where it meets Lincoln Avenue in the city's Riverside neighborhood. She said the holes were so deep this spring and so filled with water that she started calling it "Jefferson Pond."
