CARL RUSSO/Staff photo. State troopers from the Mass. State Police Reconstruction Unit investigate the accident. A motorcycle operated by Michael Lussier, 21 of Methuen crashed into a house at 251 Howe Street near the intersection of Howe and Archibald Street just before midnight on Saturday. Mr. Lussier sustained serious life threatening injuries and was immediately air lifted from Holy Family Hospital to Tufts Medical Center in Boston. The impact of the crash caused the motorcycle to be lifted off the ground and smashing through the side railing of a deck. The motorcycle finally landed on the edge of the front section of the deck throwing the Mr. Lussier to the ground. Mr. Lussier appeared to be traveling on Hampstead Steet towards Howe Street at a high rate of speed before hitting the house. The Crash remains under investigation by Methuen Police with the assistance of the Mass. State Police Reconstruction Unit. 8/18/2013.
