CARL RUSSO/Staff photo. With the temperature around 15 degrees, it didn't take long for Lawrence Fire captain, Jim Loffredo to be covered in ice while battling Thursday early evening fire. The four alarm fire at the ntersection of South Broadway and Kingston Street started around five p.m. and required mutual aid from a dozen communities to help Lawrence fight it. 1/24/2013.
