Jonas Rogers, shown here at his August arraignment on two counts of murder in Haverhill District Court, was released from jail yesterday as the Essex County District Attorney's office asked for more time to present evidence for a grand jury indictment against him. Rogers is charged in the murders of Billy Melchionda, 19, of Haverhill, and Anndy Guzman, 20, of Lawrence, during a home invasion on River Street July 23.
