Alex Ingram, a carpenter from Georgetown, says he could have been sitting inside his 2005 Chevy Silverado having lunch or talking on the phone when at just past noon yesterday the top section of a tall maple tree snapped off and landed on his truck's roof, sending a limb through the windshield and into its cabin.
