Alex Ingram, a carpenter from Georgetown, had parked his 2005 Chevy Silverado at the top of 14th Ave. yesterday and was working inside a home just around the corner when the top of a tall maple tree snapped off in high winds, crushing the truck's roof and sending a limb through its windshield and into the cabin.
