Pops goes Timberlane

What a Dame

Australian comedian Barry Humphries, a.k.a. Dame Edna, returns to Boston with "Dame Edna: My First Last Tour." The show runs Thursday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 17, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 18, at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, April 19, at 3 p.m. at Boston's Colonial Theatre. Rumor has it this play is funny

The Merrimack Valley Players will stage "Rumors" on Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 18, at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Stevens Theater, Cushing Hall, Merrimack College, 315 Turnpike St., North Andover. Musical at the Rogers

The Pentucket Players bring Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!" to Merrimack College's Rogers Center for the Arts on Friday, April 17, at 8 p.m.; Saturday, April 18, at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, April 19, at 2 p.m. The Rogers Center for the Arts is located at 315 Turnpike St., North Andover. Murder, mayhem and dinner

Help raise funds for a new Methuen Boys and Girls Club, and have fun with a murder mystery dinner party held on Saturday, April 18, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Stevens Estate, 723 Osgood St., North Andover. The Methuen Afterschool Project Inc. event includes a cocktail hour, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, cash bar, silent auction in addition to the interactive dinner theater. Cost is $75 per person.
