Her sister plays at Endicott. Ranked No. 14 in class of 483. Lacrosse captain-elect. Volunteers at Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Hopes to play at Syracuse. "She's so strong and athletic," said coach Fred Tarbox.
LUCY FRANCISCO

Scored seven goals, added five assists while playing on the boys team. MVC second-teamer (boys division) and Division 2 second-team EMass. All-Star (girls division). Has a strong leg. Scored a goal from 37 yards out against Lowell. The physical nature of boys game, "doesn't faze her at all," coach Don Shelton said. Returning starter at guard and shortstop on the basketball and softball teams, respectively.

All-Class L. Recorded 10 shutouts (16 over the past two seasons). Allowed eight goals in 17 games. Excellent leaper. "She makes athletic saves, ones a lot of players in this league are not making," coach Jim Tremblay said. Quad-captain. Successfully recovered from offseason ACL surgery. Hopes to play in college at the Division 2 or 3 level. Tri-captain of the basketball team.

All-New England (top four players in N.H.), All-Class L, Lions Cup Twin State team selection. Repeat Eagle-Tribune All-Star. Scored six goals, added six assists. Four-year starter. Played in 68 career games, which is believed to be a program record. Scored four goals off free kicks. Anchored a defense that finished with 11 shutouts. Plays for Seacoast United club team. Will play soccer at Holy Cross.

All-CAL. First-team Division 2 EMass. All-Star. Team MVP. Has excellent footwork, jukes defenders and changes speeds with ease. One of the best finishers in the area; scored 15 goals, added five assists. Clutch. Scored Scarlet Knights' lone goal in 1-1 tie with rival Andover. Scored five goals last year. Plays for Aztecs club team. The third of six children. Scored 25 goals for lacrosse team last spring. Former champion figure skater.

Scored on two free kicks. Notched an assist in Scarlet Knights' 2-1 state tournament loss to Belmont. Three-year starter. Will likely play at Southern New Hampshire University. Two-year letterman in basketball but gave up the sport.

All-CAL. Team MVP. Quad-captain. Scored seven goals, added 10 assists. Three-year starter. Clutch. Scored both goals in 2-0 win over Triton Oct. 25 to lock up a state tournament berth. "She's very intense. Soccer is her love," said coach Elaine Treado. Eagle-Tribune honorable mention sprinter (300 meters). Hopes to attend a NESCAC school. Ranked No. 6 in class of 230.
BREE ROBINSON
Pinkerton, Senior, Forward
Three-time Eagle-Tribune All-Star. Lions Cup Twin State team pick. Scored 13 goals, added four assists. Scored 50 goals over the past three seasons. "Bree is like gold," coach Ken Najem said. Fought off ankle injury to lead Cinderella Astros to tournament final. May be region's premier athlete. Won state heptathlon last June with 4,113 points. Will attend University of Hartford on a soccer scholarship.
SAMMI JO SALTALAMACCHIA
Timberlane, Senior, Midfield
All-Class L. Top vote-getter among league's midfielders. Lions Cup Twin state team selection. Scored 12 goals, added seven assists. Led team in scoring for third straight season. "She was always our most dangerous threat," coach Jeff Petry said. Tri-captain. Four-year starter. Finished with 55 career goals. One of five children; third sister to play for Owls. Hopes to play soccer at a Northeast-10 school.

Styrczula lifted Hillies to great
No one player was more important to her team this fall than Jami Styrczula.
For that reason, she is our MVP.
The senior led the region with 24 goals (she also had seven assists) and was named Merrimack Valley Conference Small Player of the Year.
"She made a difference for Haverhill this year," Andover coach Meghan Matson said. "Without a doubt."
Styrczula, a repeat Eagle-Tribune All-Star, will be continuing her career at Assumption College. She is the first Eagle-Tribune girls soccer MVP from Haverhill since the award's inception in 1989.
The speedy midfielder, a tri-captain, led the Hillies to a 13-4-2 record a year after they limped to a 5-9-3 finish.
The season began with a flourish, as Styrczula buried a pair of goals to secure a momentum-building 2-1 win over Central Catholic in the teams' opener.
"I was in awe," first-year head coach Fred Tarbox said of the performance.
Styrczula, Tarbox said, was a major reason for Haverhill's drastic turnaround.
"She is who she is because of the time and effort she puts into it," Tarbox said of Styrczula, who also won the 2006 MVC Small Player of the Year award.
There isn't much Styrczula hasn't accomplished. She plays for Seacoast United, she's ranked No. 24 in her class of 483 and she's also a two-time MVC All-Star in lacrosse.
