BOSTON (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a worker at a cargo terminal at Logan International Airport.
A spokesman for the Suffolk District Attorney’s office says it appears the man, who was not immediately identified, was on the tarmac Monday when he was struck and fatally injured by a truck as it was backing up near a plane.
Officials said they do not believe the victim was hit by the plane. They say the death appears to be an accident.
State police and the Massachusetts Port Authority, which operates the airport, are investigating.
