Cops: Man who shot TV 3 times 'might' have been drinking

PEABODY — A man was arrested Sunday night after he allegedly shot his television during an argument with his wife on the phone.

Police received an 8:11 p.m. report that a resident at 5 Normandy Drive had fired his handgun into a TV during a dispute. An officer arrested Roger Disciullo, 56, on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building and two counts of improper storage of a firearm.

An officer said Disciullo shot the TV three times. Initial reports indicated that he might have been intoxicated at the time.
