Arrest made in NH armed robberies

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Police say a convicted bank robber has been arrested in two recent armed robberies in Concord, N.H.

Benjamin Hugron is accused of robbing Asian Taste Restaurant and Sam’s Food Store earlier this month.

Police say they arrested the 32-year-old after getting an anonymous tip that he was possibly involved. Hugron is accused of displaying a weapon and demanding cash in both incidents. Police say they searched his residence and found several pieces of evidence connecting him to the robberies in the Penacook area.

The Concord Monitor reports that he also faces federal charges accusing him of a parole violation. It’s unclear if he’s being represented by an attorney.
