6, including 4 teens, hurt in Boston road crash

---- — BOSTON (AP) — State police say six people, including four teenagers, have been injured in a crash between an SUV and a pickup truck in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood.

Police said four teens were in the small sport utility vehicle. It crossed the center line of the Arborway at about 2 p.m. Friday and overturned, striking the pickup. Two adults were in the pickup.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office says the teens are between the ages of 14 and 17 and have been hospitalized for injuries ranging from relatively minor to life-threatening. The adults are two men, one with life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed between Center Street and Shea rotary.

State police are investigating. Boston police and emergency responders also were at the scene.
