NORTH ANDOVER — Two local teens were arrested early this morning for shooting at a Waverly Road house with paintball and pellet guns following a dispute at a Nashua, N.H. nightclub.

Ahamad Hamdi, 18, of 10 Devon Court, North Andover, and Kenny Ferreras, 17, of 98 Autran Ave., North Andover, were arrested this morning and each charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, according to Lt. Paul Gallagher.

He said at about 12:30 a.m. the department was beseiged with over a dozen 911 calls reporting that two men were discharging rifles from a gray car on Waverly Road near Middlesex Street.

Officer Jason Wedge pulled over the suspected vehicle and called for backup. The two were ordered out of their vehicle at gunpoint and arrested, Gallagher said.

He said the teens were shooting at the home of a 19-year-old male on Waverly Road who they had argued with earlier at a club in Nashua.

Gallagher said the three were ordered by security to leave the club, after which they drove back to North Andover.

"They know each other," Gallagher said of the victim and the suspects.

Gallagher said the guns were extremely realistic, and looked like regular rifles. One had a scope on it and resembled a sniper's rifle.

No injuries were reported, but markings from the paintball could be seen on the property of the 19-year-old victim, Gallagher said.

He said the two teens arrested were released on bail about 4 a.m. and will be arraigned tomorrow in Lawrence District Court.
