Boy struck by car seriously injured

HAVERHILL - Police in Haverhill said a boy who they believe is 14 or 15 years old was seriously injured this afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle on Golden Hill Avenue.

Police Deputy Chief Donald Thompson told The Eagle-Tribune that as of 3:30 p.m. police officers and other emergency personnel were on the scene tending to the boy and that a medical flight was requested.

Thompson said additional details about the accident will be available shortly.
