Derry CVS held up early today

DERRY — The CVS at the corner of East Broadway and Crystal Avenue was held up just before 3:30 this morning, Derry police report.

A man walked into the store, pulled a handgun from his waistband and ordered store workers to the pharmacy at the rear of the store, police said.

The suspect demanded narcotics from the pharmacist, who complied. The man fled the store and was last seen heading east on Broadway on foot,

Derry police and a N.H. State Police K-9 team searched the area, but didn't find the suspect.
