Police: Derry man sexually assaulted two girls

DERRY — A man was arrested Sunday night on two charges of aggravated felony sexual assault involving two young children.

Louie Branco, 52, of 30 Kendall Pond Road allegedly took two girls for a ride in his car after offering to drive to to a store to buy candy, police said.

On the way to the store, police said, Branco pulled the car over, told the girls to take their clothes off and assaulted them.

The alleged victims are both under the age of 13, according to police.

Branco was arrested at 10:11 p.m. Sunday.

He was arraigned yesterday. He's being held on $25,000 cash bail.

Branco is scheduled to return to court Thursday.
