Fireworks rescheduled in Derry, Salem

The threat of rain has prompted the rescheduling of Fourth of July fireworks in Southern New Hampshire.

Officials in Salem and Derry announced this morning that fireworks originally scheduled for tomorrow have been moved to Saturday night.

Fireworks in Pelham, planned for tonight, were rescheduled for July 12.

In Salem, fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. at Salem High School. Fireworks in Derry will start about 9 p.m. The best viewing areas are Folsom Road, Crystal Avenue and Hood Commons, according to the Recreation Department.
