TV falls on 2-year-old boy, helicopter takes him to hospital

HAVERHILL — A 2-year-old Haverhill boy was taken by helicopter to a Boston hospital after a television fell on him this afternoon, police said.

Police responded to 17 Bellevue Ave. around 2:40 p.m. after receiving a call that the boy was hurt.

Police would not comment on the identity of the boy or the injuries he suffered.
