Pelham man injured in police shooting in Windham

WINDHAM - There was a police-involved shooting on Lowell Road earlier today, but very few details are available.

The person shot, Grant Hebert, 21, of Pelham, is being treated at "a local hospital" for non-life-threatening injuries as a result, according to a press release from Attorney General Michael Delaney and New Hampshire State Police Col. Robert Quinn.

No police officers were injured, according to the release.

When a local police department is involved in a shooting, an outside agency, usually the state police, takes charge of the investigation. This one is still ongoing.

No more information is expected to be released today, according to the statement.
