HAVERHILL — An SUV crashed into a house on Route 110 around 2:15 this afternoon.
It appeared no one was hurt in accident at 988 Amesbury Road, about a quarter-mile from the Merrimac line. The house is next to Joe's Quick Stop convenience store. An initial report on the Fire Department scanner said the SUV crashed into the store.
Firefighters on the scene reported the closest water hydrant did not work, but that they found another one nearby to use.
