LAWRENCE — Tomorrow's opening events for the Feast of the Three Saints, a three-day religious and cultural festival that has celebrated the city's Italian heritage for 87 years, have been postponed due to the hurricane, organizers said.
The events planned for Friday night will be held Saturday starting at noon, festival organizers said.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.
Continued ...HAVERHILL — An SUV crashed into a house on Route 110 around 2:15 this afternoon.
It appeared no one was hurt in accident at 988 Amesbury Road, about a quarter-mile from the Merrimac line. The house is next to Joe's Quick Stop convenience store. An initial report on the Fire Department scanner said the SUV crashed into the store.
HAVERHILL — Local boxing star Jeff "Hell Raza" Fraza, who appeared on the TV reality show "The Contender," was hit by a train and killed early this morning.
Fraza, 34, appeared to be talking on a cell phone when he was hit by a MBTA train on the tracks along Hale Street just before 1:30 a.m., police Deputy Chief Donald Thompson said.
