Mike Foster, a Haverhill resident who grew up in North Andover, was named as a mortage officer for Family Trust Mortgage Group of Burlington. A graduate of Babson College, where he was captain of the hockey team, Foster is a member of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association.

Home Health-Visiting Nurse Association of Lawrence is one of six organizations receiving grant money from the BlueCross-BlueShield of Massachusetts Foundation. The Lawrence agency received $65,000 from the foundation to create a strategy to reduce the high rate of hospital re-admissions for Spanish-speaking cardiovascular disease patients by improving patient-provider communications. Key collaborators in this effort will include Greater Lawrence Family Heath Center, Merrimack Valley AHEC, Lawrence General Hospital and Essex Cardiology.

Bean Group LLC, a Realty services provider of New Hampshire and Massachusetts, announced the addition of Joanne Riopel to its team. Riopel will service the Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts markets as a top sales agent. She has extensive expertise in Internet marketing, and has received certificates from ASP (Accredited Staging Professionals), GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), and CRS (Certified Residentialist Specialist). Riopel resides in Pelham with her husband and two daughters.

The Essex National Heritage Commission presented four Special Recognition awards and promoted five new commissioners at its semiannual meeting at Veasey Mameorial Park in Groveland. Awards were given to William Power of the Peabody Historical Society and Museum, Sally Carlson of SC Communications in Newburyport, the House of Seven Gables in Salem, and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation for their service to their communities. James Haskell, Summer Jones, Jeffey Korzenik, Charles Newhall and Ann Ormond were all appointed to three-year terms as new commissioners.

Methuen resident David Aucoin was appointed vice president of support and service for the North American operation of Kaspersky Lab, an international information security software vendor. Aucoin has more than 20 years of technology customer service and support experience. He will be responsible for the North American technical and customer support teams servicing business accounts, channel partners and consumers.



"David has a proven record of high customer satisfaction, and as a results-oriented, decisive leader we are confident that he will be an excellent addition at a time of explosive growth for Kaspersky in North America," said Steve Orenberg, president of Kaspersky Lab. Before joining Kaspersky, Aucoin worked for Enterasys Networks, Inc., where he served as director of service operations and products.

The Ninety Nine Restaurant in Andover has donated $2,045 to the Andover public schools. The eatery recently underwent a complete renovation and was able to raise the money from a successful silent auction for the memorabilia that used to decorate the restaurant before the renovation. Andover Schools Superintendent Claudia Bach accepted the donation on behalf of the Andover schools.

A search committee has been formed to find a new president of the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce. The full-time position is currently held by Sally Cerasuolo-O'Rorke who is leaving the job, effective June 30. The committee wants the new chamber president to expand membership growth, increase member services and direct economic development initiatives. A Hudson, N.H., company will lease 2,368 square feet of industrial space at 9 Tinkham Ave. in Derry. Tinkham Realty, Inc., made the announcement on behalf of SnackAisle, a company that ships all-natural snacks to individuals, groups and organizations in the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories. Bill Zolla of the commercial division of Tinkham Realty negotiated the lease.

Rosilia Gomez-Barranco of Bradford and Mark Segal of North Andover were honored for their years of service to Partners HealthCare. Gomez-Barranco was recognized for her 10 years a service. She currently works as a telecommunications supervisor at Partners. Segal was honored for his five years of service. He works as a software engineer in the information systems department at Partners.



This year, Partners recognized 392 employees with five to 35 years of service for a combined total of more than 4,300 years of service with Partners and its affiliated hospitals and health care facilities.
