Octoberfest auto show planned at Porsche of Nashua

The sixth annual Octoberfest Autoshow at Porsche of Nashua takes place next Sunday, Oct. 6, from noon to 3 p.m. at the dealership, 170 Main Dunstable Road. in Nashua, N.H.

Admission is free for visitors. Exhibitors of automobiles and motorcycles are asked for a $25 registration fee. Proceeds from registrations, plus public donations accepted from visitors, will go to Easter Seals New Hampshire’s Veterans Count-Nashua.

The charity event will showcase locally owned, classic and exotic cars and motorcycles. Porsche of Nashua will provide music and entertainment, give away prizes, and conduct raffles and a silent auction during the show.

Last year the Porsche of Nashua Octoberfest Autoshow raised more than $7,000 for the Easter Seals veterans support service. The Veterans Count Club provides financial assistance to veterans and their families during times when they need emergency services.

“We’re hoping to beat our total donations from last year so that Veterans Count can continue to provide vital aid to service members and their families,” said Larry Bedell, general manager of Porsche of Nashua. “The Octoberfest Autoshow has become a great fall tradition in our area, and we’re thrilled that this year’s event will support New Hampshire veterans, who have sacrificed so much so that we’re all free to enjoy beautiful cars on a Sunday afternoon.”

The auto show is open to cars and motorcycles of all makes and models. Vehicle owners interested in displaying at the event can register at www.eastersealsnh.org/events. Information is available at the dealership, by calling 603-595-1707.

“We’re looking forward to seeing rare and exciting rides,” said Bedell. “Each year the lineup has improved, which means a vibrant community of enthusiasts and a greater ability to support Easter Seals New Hampshire.”

In case of bad weather on Oct. 6, the rain date for the Octoberfest Autoshow is the following Sunday, Oct. 13.
