---- — ANDOVER — Andover resident and elder care lawyer, Karol Bisbee, attended the Senior Estate Planning Institute held in February in San Antonio, Texas. Over 50 elder law attorneys from throughout the United States met for educational and aging topics. Attendees focused on planning needs and concerns for leading age Baby Boomers and seniors, who are retired or nearing retirement.

ANDOVER — MKS Instruments, Inc., a global provider of technologies that enable advanced processes and improve productivity, announces that its Board of Directors elected Gerald Colella to the position of president and chief operating officer. He previously served as vice president and chief operating officer. Colella will continue to report to Leo Berlinghieri, who continues in his role as chief executive officer. Colella retains responsibility for all product groups, global sales and service, marketing, technology, and global business operations, including quality, manufacturing, and supply chain management.

WEST ANDOVER — VERC Enterprises, a leading convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, announces that Wanda Vidal of Lowell has been named manager of the West Andover Mobil, located at 139 River Road.

Vidal, who has more than 16 years of experience in the retail/customer service industry, has been with VERC Enterprises for 10 years. Prior to her new post in West Andover, Vidal was manager of the VERC Nashua Gulf. She has been recognized by VERC Enterprises on several occasions, earning a number of employee awards.

LAWRENCE — Imajine That, an award winning educational indoor play space for children, gains a valuable partner. Sal Lupoli, president and CEO of Lupoli Companies, parent company of Sal’s Pizza, Salvatore’s Restaurants and Riverwalk Properties, joins hands with Susan Leger-Ferraro, founder of Imajine That, to take the children’s play space to new levels.

The expansion of the existing location will include the addition of Little Sal’s Culinary Institute, Little Sal’s Cafe with new food options, a new arts and crafts area, a Whole Foods sponsored grocery store and Smart Board technology for classrooms and party rooms. The expansion is expected to be completed by summer 2013.

Imajine That is the 2012 winner of the Boston Parents Paper, Best Play Space and Best of the Best, North Shore Magazine. Imajine That is currently located at The Riverwalk, 354 Merrimack St., Lawrence, with two current Boston Public Schools pop ups, with eight additional locations slated to open within Boston Public Schools by fall 2013.

NORTH ANDOVER — Edgewood’s recent Aqua Zumba event raised $800 for the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Association. Over 27 participants participated in the fundraiser. Aqua Zumba is a fun and safe way to exercise in the water and provides great cardio and toning benefits. Nancy Ryan, the exercise specialist at Edgewood, was an instructor at the event. Ryan teaches Aqua Zumba classes three times a week to residents as well as Zumba classes at the North Andover Senior Center.
