LAWRENCE — The Guilmette Elementary School in Lawrence has been awarded $1,635 from Smart Choice to support the school’s Fuel Up to Play 60 program and add more whole grains to breakfast. Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by National Dairy Council and National Football League that empowers students to eat healthy and be active.

LOWELL — Mark Cochran, president and chief executive officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, made the following announcements: Kathryn Dame has been promoted to vice president - branch administration. Dame has worked at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union for 17 years in many different capacities from teller, to corporate training to her current role as branch administrator, where she oversees the six branch offices of the Credit Union. Anne-Marie Bisson has been promoted to vice president - financial education. Bisson has worked at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union for 22 years in many different capacities from teller, to member service representative to her current role in financial education, where she oversees the Credit Union’s high school branches as well as all aspects of the Credit Union’s financial education efforts.

BOSTON — Lindsey Mayo, director of alumni relations at Northern Essex Community College, was honored at the Distinguished Service and Recognition Awards Reception, an annual program of District I of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), held at the Westin Copley Place in Boston. The Rising Star Award recognizes the accomplishments of new advancement professionals whose early success promises future leadership and achievement. Mayo has been the director of alumni relations in the institutional advancement office at Northern Essex Community College (NECC) since December 2011. She oversees all alumni events, activities, and volunteers including the NECC Alumni Association Advisory Board. Mayo also works with NECC students through the college’s phonathon program, as well as serving as the college representative for several state and national scholarships.
