ANDOVER — 2013 was a year of growth and expansion for Wright-Pierce, a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm in Andover, improving the firm’s ranking by 32 positions in the Engineering News Record (ENR) 2013 “Top 500” design firms. Engineering News Record, a trade publication and AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) industry observer, compiles and publishes annual rankings of the largest engineering and construction firms in the U.S., measured by gross revenues. Wright-Pierce has been ranked in the Top 500 for five consecutive years, and with a 16 percent revenue growth in 2013, the firm attained its highest ranking to date.
Wright-Pierce has expanded its staff by 20 percent since early 2013 to nearly 200 people, adding depth and breadth to both technical and management teams. A Manchester, N.H., office was opened in June, and major expansions have recently been completed at the Andover and Middletown, Conn., offices to accommodate projected growth.

BURLINGTON — Atlanta-based Primrose Schools will grow its Northeastern presence with the opening of its first Boston-area preschool in Burlington.
