---- — METHUEN — Members of the Greater Merrimack Chamber of Commerce, state and local elected officials and business leaders gathered recently for a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of Tripoli’s newest location in the Howe Street Market at 163 Howe St. in Methuen. The new shop features freshly made, hand crafted Italian breads, a wide variety of cookies and cannoli, pastries and cakes. The renowned Tripoli Pizza is made on site to order. Tripoli also has locations in Lawrence, North Andover and Seabrook Beach serving pizza and bakery goods. The Salisbury Beach location serves pizza only all year round. LOWELL — Align Credit Union recently visited Mrs. Morris’ third grade class at Frost Elementary School in Lawrence. They brought classroom supplies and copies of “Not Cool to Bully in School,” a book by Bruins star Milan Lucic that was sponsored by Align. Recently released, the book is a collaboration between Milan and his wife, Brittany, as well as Cleon Daskalakis, president of the Celebrities for Charity Foundation and Jon Goode of the Lowell Spinners. The illustrations were done by Rachel Gregorio. All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to charity.
LOWELL — Matthew Magiera, Michael Martin, and Carolyn McLeod have joined the staff of Fred C. Church, Inc.’s Lowell headquarters. Magiera was hired as a Commercial Account Executive, Martin was hired as a Commercial Lines Marketing Assistant; and McLeod was hired as a Personal Insurance Account Manager.
