NORTH ANDOVER — The financial services firm Edward Jones has opened its second office in North Andover. Travis Holland has been hired as the financial advisor for the new office. Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors in the United States and, through its affiliate, in Canada. Edward Jones, which ranked No. 11 on FORTUNE magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" in 2011, is headquartered in St. Louis, Mo.

NORTH ANDOVER — L-com, Inc., a leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, has won a Stevie Award in the category of Customer Service Department of the Year. In January, L-com announced it was a finalist in three categories for the award.

SALEM, N.H. — On Call International, a provider of medical, security and travel assistance, has hired Patrick Lanzetta, MD, FACEP; Reed Brozen, MD, FACEP; and Richard Linsky, MD, FACEP, to join in-house Medical Director Dr. Robert Wheeler and his team of physicians. Lanzetta hails from Rochester, where he is certified in emergency medicine and is Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners. Brozen served in the Emergency Department as the medical director air transport for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART). Prior to joining On Call International, Linsky was the medical director of Rescue Nurse International in Texas.

ATKINSON — Sue Brusa, Atkinson resident and local independent distributor for Reliv International, recently earned a free Caribbean cruise from the direct selling company.
