Richard and Kathleen Plouffe of Methuen are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie-Anne Plouffe, to Daniel Cote, son of Charles and Joanne Cote, also of Methuen.

Julie-Anne is a graduate of Methuen High School and received her bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Providence College. She is a special education teacher at Timony Grammar School in Methuen.

Daniel is a graduate of Methuen High School and received his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth. He works for Bear Stearns in Boston.

A July 19, 2008 wedding is planned.
