Jamie Bellavance and Andre Coelho

Robert and Nancy Bellavance of Methuen are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Bellavance, to Andre Coelho, son of Andre Coelho and Janet Coelho of Somerset.

Jamie is a graduate of Methuen High School and received her bachelor's degree in magazine journalism from Syracuse University, Class of 2004. She is the assistant online editor at Boston Magazine.

Andre is a graduate of New England Christian Academy and received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth, Class of 2004. He is part-owner/manager of Wholesale Flooring in Fall River.

Andre and Jamie met on a summer night in 2002 at The Roxy in Boston when they were both sophomores in college. They dated long distance through two years of college, and then moved together to live outside of Philadelphia for two years, so Jamie could pursue her journalism career.

They recently returned to the area and bought a house in Attleboro.

A May 31, 2008 wedding is planned.
