Richard and Carol Savoy of Chester, N.H. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Marie Savoy, to Jason Alan Hartman, son of Gregg and Gerilyn Hartman of Chester, N.H.

Melanie is a graduate of Pinkerton Academy and received her master's of education from the University of New Hampshire. She is a teacher in the Derry School System, Derry, N.H.

Jason is a graduate of Pikerton Academy. He is a package delivery driver for United Parcel Service in Nashua, N.H.

A May 31, 2008 wedding is planned.
