Leonard and Deborah Lombardi of Groveland and William and Sharon Plummer of West Newbury are delighted to announce the engagement of their children, Brea and Andrew.
Brea is a graduate of Pentucket Regional High School, Class of 2001. She graduated from Merrimack College in 2005 where she received a BA in English with a minor in Elementary Education. She is scheduled to graduate from Salem State in 2010 with a Masters in Special Education. Brea is certified in both Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She is employed as a Kindergarten Teacher at the John C. Page School in West Newbury.
Andrew is a graduate of Pentucket High School, Class of 2001. He graduated from Westfield State in 2005 where he received a BA in Computer Information Sciences. He is employed at State Street Bank in Boston as a Software Developer.
Andrew and Brea met and started dating during their senior year in 2000 at Pentucket. They have continued being a couple ever since. In November 2007, Andrew arranged a trip to the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, N.H. to celebrate the anniversary of their first date. Andrew surprised Brea while at dinner by asking.for her hand in marriage. Brea responded with a "yes" and Andrew presented her with an engagement ring he had carefully chosen. Unbeknownst to Brea, her parents were fully aware of the expected proposal, as Andrew has asked for their permission to marry their daughter over dinner.
A July 25, 2009 wedding at the Georgetown Country Club is planned.
