Charlotte L. Fullerton and Dwayne G. McDuffie

Alan and Lois Anna Fullerton of Haverhill are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte Louise Fullerton, to Dwayne Glenn McDuffie, son of Edna McDuffie Gardner of Orlando, Fla. and the late Leroy McDuffie of Detroit.

Charlotte, originally of Haverhill, currently of Tarzana, Calif., is a graduate of Merrimack Montessori School in Haverhill, studied at The Pike School in Andover, and is a graduate of Sacred Hearts School in Bradford, of St. Mary High School in Lawrence, and of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles with a BA in Cinema-Television Production. Charlotte is now an award-winning writer of children's media including books, comic books, video games, and television series such as Ben 10: Alien Force, Fairly Oddparents, Kim Possible, Tutenstein, Power Rangers, Duel Masters, and Care Bears, but her very first jobs ever were delivering the Haverhill Gazette and the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune.

Dwayne, originally of Detroit, currently of Tarzana, Calif., is a graduate of The Roeper School in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., of the University of Michigan with a BA in Literature and an MS in Physics, and studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Dwayne is the co-creator of the Emmy Award-winning television series Static Shock. He has also been the editor or writer of dozens of Marvel and DC Comics. A Humanitas Prize winner, Writers Guild Award nominee, and two-time Emmy nominee, Dwayne was the producer of Justice League Unlimited, the story editor of Ben 10: Alien Force, and is currently the story editor of Ben 10: Evolutions.

An October wedding is planned in the bride's hometown of Haverhill.
