Endocrinologist Neil Ravin, MD, will present “Controversies in Endocrinology: Should we treat patients over 60 with osteoporosis, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and low testosterone differently?” The cost of $5 includes a full dinner of corned beef with boiled cabbage, potatoes, baby carrots, mixed green salad, dinner rolls, coffee, tea and dessert. Padre Pio Prayer Group meeting, 6:30 p.m. at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen. The meeting will consist of recitation of the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy along with topics regarding the Catholic faith and the ongoing discussion of healing the family tree.
