Toddler Story Time, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Nesmith Library, 8 Fellows Road, Windham. This program is only open to cardholders of the Nesmith Library. Toddler Time lasts about 20-25 minutes with 30 minutes following the session for parent/child social interaction. Parents are encouraged to participate, but asked to limit personal conversations until the 30-minute social period. For ages 18 months to 36 months with a caregiver. Book Signing Event, 7 p.m. in the Garden Room of the Nevins Library, 305 Broadway, Methuen. Mario Pagnoni, author of “The Joy of Bocce,” will sign copies of his book. Pagnoni is the purveyor of all things bocce; court construction, corporate outings, public speaking, tournaments and fund-raisers, equipment and supplies. 24th annual Tribute to Women luncheon, at DiBurro’s in Ward Hill. Hosted by the Haverhill YWCA. Meteorologist Matt Noyes will be the honorary chairperson and keynote speaker. The YWCA Academy of Women was established to create a permanent tribute to the achievements and significant contributions of women who live or work in the Greater Haverhill area. All 2013 nominees will be honored at the luncheon, and the public is encouraged to attend. Tickets are $45 per person. Reservations are required. 978-374-6121.
