Johnny Claude the Listener Dog, 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Hampstead Public Library, 9 Mary E. Clark Drive. This certified therapy dog listens to children read, tell stories or act out a book. Adults are also welcome. Call 603-329-6411 to set up a 15-minute session.

Boy Scout Troop 87 of Groveland’s Annual blood drive with the Red Cross, 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Central Fire Station in the Town Hall complex on Route 113.
