Senior Lunch Presentation — “Memory Loss & Dementia,” at Merrimack Valley Hospital, 140 Lincoln Ave., Haverhill. With Mary Richardson, community liaison for Steward Health Care and former co-host of the WCVB Channel 5 show Chronicle. Richardson will interview Neuropsychologist Dr. Buck H. Woo and Patricia Lavoie, LICSW from Merrimack Valley Hospital’s Adult Behavioral Medicine Center, and take questions from the audience. The luncheon is from 1 to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s first floor auditorium. The $5 fee includes a full dinner and the presentation. The menu includes meat lasagna, whole green beans, garlic bread, Caesar salad with choice of dressings, dessert, coffee and tea. Registration is required. Call 978-521-8140.

The Beehive: Artist Rob Crooker, 10 to noon at Memorial Hall Library, 2 North Main St., Andover. MHL’s January 2014 artist of the month will demonstrate “Painting Mist and Fog with Acrylics.” Starting with partially painted scenes, he will demonstrate how to apply the paint to complete the scene with misty or foggy backgrounds or foregrounds.
