17th Annual Lawrence Vietnam Memorial Run or Walk 4 Mile Road Race, 11 a.m. beginning and ending at the Claddagh Pub, 399 Canal St., Lawrence. The walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. Advance registration is $20, $25 on the day of the race. For race applications, email TheCooze14@yahoo.com.

Fourth Annual Wounded Warrior Breakfast & Raffle, 9 a.m. to noon at the Lawrence Lodge of Elks, 650 Andover St. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children under 10. Tickets will be available at the door.

Trail maintenance, 8:30 a.m. beginning at the end of Pine Street, across from the central fire station. The Methuen Rail Trail will be working on the trails in the Nevins Bird Sanctuary. Bring gloves and loping shears or pruners. Snacks and water will be provided. Spend an hour and help keep the area, just off the trail, open and usable. Annual Family Pumpkin Festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Chris’ Farm Stand, 436 Salem St., Haverhill. Children’s activities include face painting, a hay maze, hay rides, barbecue. Free admission.
