American Red Cross Blood Drive, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Presentation of Mary Dupre Center, 209 Lawrence St., Methuen. Call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org.

15th Annual Turkey Day, at Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Golf Course, 79 Brady Ave., Salem, N.H. Bring a frozen turkey (minimum of 12 lbs.) to the Clubhouse Proshop and golf for free. Gift certificates of $20 or more, valid at local supermarkets, will be accepted in lieu of turkeys. Turkeys and gift certificates will be donated to the local food pantry. Call 603-894-4653, ext. 13 to schedule a tee time. In case of rain or snow, this event will be held on Nov. 12. Call to reschedule a tee time for this date. Golf carts are not required but are available at an additional fee. Greens fees will apply to all golfers who do not bring a turkey or gift certificate including CSHGC members.

Free eBooks Workshop, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Haverhill Public Library. Learn how to download library eBooks to one’s eReader using the OverDrive Media Console App. This class is open to people with eReaders that have “App” capability. The library is offering one-on-one classes for patrons with other eReaders. Classes are limited to eight people. Call 978-373-1586, ext. 608 to sign up.
