Turkey Cheer, 1 to 5 p.m. at the Sons of Italy (new location), 459 Merrimack St., Methuen. There will be a raffle for turkey gift certificates, various gift certificates, arts and crafts, fruit baskets, cheer and more. Refreshments will be served. Bring friends.

Sports Cards & Red Sox Autograph Show, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gaythorne K of C Hall, 462 Broadway, Methuen. Includes 40 dealer tables of sports cards and memorabilia for sale. Rico Petrocelli will sign autographs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission is $2, $15 for autographs. Call 508-265-4440.

Singer/songwriter Liz Longley with fellow musicians Annalise Emerick & Gus Berry, 2 p.m. at the Spectrum Adult Day Health Program, 1820 Turnpike St., North Andover. Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door. All proceeds will benefit Spectrum’s daytime services for those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders. Veterans Day observance, 11 a.m. to noon in the Hampstead Middle School cafeteria. The program will include patriotic songs and music, an Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard presentation, an a wreath laying ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Park, in front of the town offices. Call 603-329-4288.

“The Strike Heard Around the World” Bread & Roses 1912, 10 a.m. at the Methuen Senior Activity Center, 77 Lowell St. Tom Gradzewicz will present a short documentary on this local, historical event. All are welcome. Call 978-983-8825.
