The Friends of the Lawrence Public Library, meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. (except July) in the library’s Robert Frost Room, 51 Lawrence St. New members and guests welcome. For more information, call Jim Ross, president of the LPL, at 978-852-0395 or email jross1234@aol.com.

The Samuel Osgood Stamp Club, meets at 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month (except in July and August when meetings are on the third Wednesday only), at the Sutton Hill Center, Route 114, North Andover. There is a brief club business discussion at the start of each meeting, with presentations on the third Wednesday, and an open discussion on the first Wednesday. A bourse is usually available prior to and after each meeting and an auction normally follows the meeting. The club also sponsors an annual exhibition and dealers bourse, called SOPEX. Knights of Columbus Council #67, meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at 1 Market St., Lawrence. New members are welcome. Open to men 18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing) Catholics. Help those in need, grow one’s faith, serve one’s parish. The Salem (NH) Woman’s Club, meets at noon on the first Tuesday of each month at the Kelley Library, 234 Main St., Salem, N.H. A business meeting follows the luncheon. Co-presidents are Dorothy Falco and Beverly Johnson. The club does not meet during the summer.
