Timberlane Youth Soccer League’s (TYSL) annual election of officers, 6:30 p.m. at the Atkinson Community Center, Room 2. The quarterly board meeting will follow the election. Elected officer positions include president, vice president, treasurer and secretary. In 2013, officers will meet every second Sunday (with the exception of July and December) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sandown Town Hall. Israeli Folk Dance Workshop, 7 to 10 p.m. at Osgood Landing, 1580 Osgood St., North Andover. Presented by Ira Weisburd, internationally recognized dance choreographer and teacher. Open to the public. Admission is $10 with pre-registration before Nov. 7 or $12 at the door. The program, geared for dancers of all ages, has been arranged by the Merrimack Valley Israeli dance group. Third Annual Veterans’ Pancake Breakfast, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Reliefs’ Inn, The Firefighters Club, (former Knights of Columbus), 1 Market St., Lawrence. Hosted by Lawrence City Councilor-At-Large Roger Twomey. Menu includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, ham, muffins, doughnuts, fruit, coffee, tea, juice and more. $5 donation per person, free for veterans.

“Hillies Havoc,” 9 a.m. at Winnekenni Castle. Four divisions will compete for first through sixth place. All competitors will receive a T-shirt. Overflow parking and bus shuttle available from Pentucket Lake Elementary, 252 Concord St. The endurance and agility test is a product of the partnership of the Haverhill YMCA and Haverhill Athletic Department. Proceeds will support Haverhill YMCA youth and teens and the athletic department, Haverhill High School user fees and the Haverhill YMCA Teen Leaders Club. Division start times: ages 0-12 (youth), 9 a.m., $10; ages 13-18 (teen), 9:30 a.m., $15; ages 19 and up (adult), 10 a.m., $20; ages 65 and over (senior), 10:30 a.m., $15. Day of event fee additional $5 HPS faculty and Y staff discount $5. Registration required.
