New Suffolk University president to meet with alumni, 6 p.m. at the Andover Country Club, Trumpeter Room, 60 Canterbury St. President James McCarthy will hold a reception to meet with alumni in the North Shore/Merrimack Valley and New Hampshire areas. “Holiday Arrangements from your Yard,” 7 p.m. in St. Michael’s Parish Hall, Main Street, North Andover. Hosted by the North Andover Garden Club. Betty Sanders, master gardener, will give the presentation. Learn how to make evergreens into the basis of decorative arrangements.
