The Haverhill Garden Club, is seeking new members. The club meets each month from September through June at the public library. Monthly activities include workshops ranging from garden design, organic gardening, container gardening, lawn care and floral arranging to cooking with herbs. The Boys & Girls Car Campaign, will accept most any car with no restrictions now that the price of scrap metal has risen. Cars will be picked up anywhere in Massachusetts, usually within a week, and are sold at auction. To donate, call 1-800-246-0493.
