Girls Inc. seeks alumnae

HAVERHILL — Girls Inc. of Greater Haverhill will celebrate its 100th birthday next year and during the countdown is planning a variety of activities including open houses, a 100th birthday bash in November and a Centennial Memory Book.

Girls Inc. is looking for alumnae to help celebrate this milestone — girls who participated in its programs or attended Girls Inc. events, after-school programs or summer camps, parents and family members, and former employees and board members. Girls Inc. is reaching out to its alumnae, asking about their lives, where they currently live and what they are doing. The organization is also looking for stories and photos of alumnae experiences with Girls Inc. to include in a Centennial Memory Book.

Girls Inc. programs build self-esteem, foster creativity and promote critical thinking skills. Programs are offered on-site, in community venues, in several public schools, during school hours, after school, and through a summer camp. If you are a Girls Inc. alumna or know of one, please call 978-372-0771, ext. 223, email kfitzgerald@girlsinchaverhill.org or send information to Girls Inc. Centennial Celebration, 7 William St., Haverhill, MA 01830.
